These Facility Rules are part of your Rental Agreement. By storing property at Red Magic Storage you agree to follow them. Red Magic may update these rules as operational needs change and will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes.

1. Access and gate

  • The facility is accessible to customers during the access hours posted at the gate and on your account dashboard. Red Magic may adjust access hours with reasonable notice.
  • Use only your own gate code, key, or credential. Do not share it with anyone who is not an authorized user on your account.
  • Wait for the gate to close completely behind you every time you enter or leave. Do not hold the gate open for other vehicles ("tailgating").
  • Report a malfunctioning gate, lock, light, or camera to Red Magic promptly.

2. Driving on the property

  • Observe the posted speed limit. Unless a different limit is posted, drive no faster than 5 mph anywhere on the property.
  • Yield to pedestrians and to vehicles maneuvering into or out of spaces.
  • Drive only on designated lanes and aprons. Do not drive across other customers' spaces or landscaped areas.

3. Your storage space

  • Keep your property within the boundaries of your assigned space. Do not encroach on neighboring spaces, lanes, or common areas.
  • Keep your space clean and free of trash, debris, and loose items.
  • Before leaving, secure your property: close and latch doors, windows, vents, and compartments; retract and secure awnings and slide-outs; secure covers, tie-downs, jacks, and hitches.
  • Red Magic provides outdoor storage space only and does not take custody or control of your property. Maintaining and securing your property is your responsibility at all times.

4. Parking and access lanes

  • Do not block driveways, gates, fire lanes, dumpsters, or emergency access areas at any time, even briefly.
  • Do not park or stage vehicles or trailers outside your assigned space without Red Magic's approval.

5. Prohibited activities

The following are not allowed anywhere on the property without Red Magic's prior written approval:

  • Living, sleeping, or staying overnight in any stored RV, boat, trailer, or vehicle; camping on the property.
  • Operating a business from the facility.
  • Major mechanical repairs; welding, painting, body work, or similar work.
  • Washing vehicles, boats, or equipment.
  • Dumping sewage, gray water, or wastewater; discharging oil, fuel, antifreeze, chemicals, or other fluids onto the ground or into drains.
  • Storing hazardous, illegal, explosive, or highly flammable materials, including fireworks.
  • Leaving garbage, furniture, or loose materials outside your stored property.
  • Subleasing, lending, or transferring your space to another person without Red Magic's authorization.

6. Fuel, propane, and batteries

  • Normal quantities of fuel and propane in the permanently installed systems of your stored property are permitted.
  • Keep fuel systems, propane systems, batteries, and related equipment in safe working condition.
  • Do not store portable fuel cans, spare propane cylinders, or unusually large quantities of flammable material without Red Magic's approval.

7. Insurance and responsibility for property

  • Red Magic Storage does not insure your RV, boat, trailer, vehicle, equipment, or personal property.
  • You are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance and for keeping your registration and licensing current.
  • Security cameras, fencing, gates, locks, and lighting are intended to deter unauthorized activity but do not guarantee against theft, vandalism, weather damage, or other loss.

8. Weather and seasonal conditions

  • Red Magic may temporarily restrict access during severe weather, snow removal, maintenance, safety or security concerns, emergencies, or other operational conditions.
  • Snow removal: Red Magic clears the main drive lanes as conditions allow after significant snowfall. Clearing snow and ice from your own space and from around and on top of your stored property is your responsibility.
  • Prepare your property for seasonal conditions (winterizing, battery care, tire care, covers).

9. Guests and authorized users

  • You are responsible for anyone you bring onto the property or authorize to access or remove your property.
  • Keep your list of authorized users current with Red Magic.

10. Reporting problems and emergencies

  • Report accidents, damage, leaks, unsafe conditions, or suspicious activity to Red Magic promptly at info@redmagicstorage.com.
  • In an emergency, call 911 first, then notify Red Magic.

11. Damage and accounts in default

  • You are responsible for damage you cause to gates, fencing, signs, buildings, landscaping, other customers' property, or other parts of the facility.
  • Failure to pay amounts due or to follow these rules or the Rental Agreement may place your account in default. Red Magic may then exercise the remedies available under the Rental Agreement and South Dakota law, including restricting access and enforcing a lien against stored property in accordance with applicable law.
